CODA is an independent rock editorial project that understands rock not just as a music genre, but as a cultural identity, a way of belonging, resisting and positioning oneself in the world.

The project starts from a clear tension: a strong legacy rooted in print and a loyal audience, but a visual language that has stopped evolving.


The concept
In music, a coda is not just an ending, it’s a reinterpretation.
A moment where everything that came before is transformed and re-signified.

CODA builds on that idea:
It’s not about repeating the archive.
It’s about translating its spirit into a new cultural context.


The approach
Reframing rock as a contemporary cultural language
- Moving away from nostalgia as the main visual driver
- Building a flexible editorial system for print and digital
- Using typography, rhythm and composition as expressive tools


The outcome
A visual identity system that reinterprets the codes of rock through a more editorial, contemporary and culturally relevant lens.
